Claire Sakaki and Jason Keel wed at the historic Outrigger Canoe Club on the beautiful island of Oahu. Photographer Frank Amodo was on-hand to capture to happy couple. Claire traveled to Hawaii for family vacations growing up and gathering everyone together in the place that already had so many fond memories was very special. Jason comes from an ancestry linked to boat-building and spent much of his childhood on the water with his family. So a destination wedding to the stunning Hawaiian Islands seemed a perfect fit.
The theme of their wedding was “Meet me by the sea.” Surrounded by a small group of family and close friends who traveled from all parts of Canada, Jason and Claire couldn’t have asked for a better day. Reverend Michael Nelson officiated a heartfelt ceremony incorporating Hawaiian tradition and personal touches and the reception, hosted by the bride’s brother David, was filled with lots of love and laughter.
