To be wed among the roaring seas of Maui's North Shore is an honor and spiritual experience in itself. Melissa and Owen craved the adventure of a rural seaside elopement with a ceremony that incorporated the culture of the islands. The lovely Maui based photographer Melia Lucida spent the entire day with the couple as they got ready for their nuptials. Melissa and Owen first spent the morning at the Old European inspired Haiku Mill to get ready for their nuptials and take photos beneath crystal chandeliers. They then said their "I do's" in a private cliff side ceremony officiated by Kahu Kale Ka'alekahi, and followed with a few photos at the historic Old Maui High.
