The wedding of Øyvind and Lone was that of a dream. Lone resembled a European fairytale bride in an ultra feminine gown of floral appliqué. Set within the city center of Oslo, the couple found a green escape among the city's light-filled botanical garden. Norwegian wedding photographer Eva of Moment Studio captured the essence of the entire day beautifully.

Read below for details on the gorgeous day as told by the bride.

"Øyvind asked me to marry him in romantic Venice, in a gondola during sunset. It was the perfect proposal, and I was thrilled to be engaged to my soulmate. After a year of planning and considering getting married in Italy, we ended up in our hometown Oslo, the capital of Norway."

"The wedding ceremony was is the beautiful botanical garden of Oslo, a green gem within the city center. The florist arranged white gladiolas behind the alter and rose petals down the aisle. The ceremony was the prettiest part of the wedding! We had gold chiavari chairs with pink bows on them to match the pink bridesmaids dresses. And the music was breathtaking! We had an opera singer and Henning Kraggerud played magnificent violin. The scene was set for a magical moment. Even the ice cubes had frozen roses in them!"

"I felt overwhelmed with pride and joy to marry the love of my life. After taking our couple portraits and enjoying a glass of rosé, we headed over to Eight Rooftop Bar on the top of Grand Hotel. Our guests were already awaiting our arrival, sipping cocktails under canopies. We had a special, custom made pink cocktail decorated with violets for the cocktail hour. The mood was perfect, the sun was shining, and the guests were fully enjoying the moment.

We headed down to the Mirror Hall on the first floor of the hotel for dinner. Among the decor was the prettiest display of pink flowers I have ever seen. The flowers in combination with the golden details in the plating and charity melted my heart. It was the perfect combination of pink and gold, my favorite colors."

"Opera singer Ingegjerd Bagøien Moe opened the night with a beautiful aria, and everyone loved it. Our three course dinner started with a traditional Nordic "Hummerskagen", a starter with tender lobster. We Norwegians love our fish, and therefore it felt natural to have a beautiful main course of butter cooked cod. The dessert was another Nordic favorite, a "Hylleblomst" Panna Cotta.

The speeches were so moving and we were fully entertained by our creative guests. We were presented slideshows of us from when we were young, a fun guessing game while blindfolded, a beautiful poem, a hysterical rap song about us, and a beautiful song written about us. We were also so lucky to have a special violin performance improvised for us by Henning Kraggerud! All of the effort the guests had put into the wedding meant so much to us. Later there was time for wedding cake and dancing. We wish the night could have gone on forever! We had the most magical wedding and I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends, family, and of course, husband! It was the best day of my life!"
