Brittany and Jared have a palpable love. These portrait's were the end to their incredible elopement session. For this portion of the session we swapped out the Sarah Seven bridal gown with a stunning Sarah Seven ready-to-wear gown for a mood that was more honeymoon-like. If Perry's other gorgeous images were going to be for their families, these enchanting photos were for the two of them. Brittany told us how much Jared loves her fairytale style hair, so we made sure to let it be unencumbered and flowing at the beach. Our talented photographer, Perry Vaile, found this amazing black sand beach (called Lost Beach) in the far northwest corner of California.
When I work with couples during their portrait sessions my role is either comic relief to make them more comfortable, cheerleader, or fly-on-the-wall. As we were walking around this beach, I certainly chose the latter so as not to interrupt the tranquil intimacy that Brittany and Jared were sharing. I'm so happy Perry put them in touch with me and that I was able to be a small part of them remembering their first moments as husband and wife.
