Wedding photographer and PW contributing editor Nadia Hung connected with gown designer Gaby of Truvelle through a styled shoot. She recently captured the creative in her Vancouver studio. "Gaby is one of the most talented bridal gown designers in Vancouver," Nadia says. I was very drawn to her unique design and style, and her dresses are for brides with extraordinary taste."

What is your go-to source of inspiration when designing a collection? Inspiration comes from a mixture of current fashion, new fabrics, and personal taste.

Ultimate love song? Sea of Love by Cat Power

Wedding tradition you don't mind keeping around? Full-length gowns. It's not every day that you get to wear a fancy dress, especially one with a train. Why not take advantage of it?

The one Truvelle wedding gown you adore? I'm really proud of Nicolet. A ton of work and revisions went into the design and the pattern, and I'm happy I was able to balance lace, sequins, and chiffon without creating an overwhelmingly busy design.

Who are your must-follow people on Instagram? I love @kinfolk for their content, @anotherfeather for their monochromatic color scheme, and @whentheyfindus for Vancouver happenings!
