Kristin and Clay chose a private oceanfront cove with stunning views as the setting for their destination wedding. Lanikuhonua, which in Hawaiian means, "Where the heavens meet the earth", is tucked away on the west side of the island of Oahu. The groom, an olympic gold medalist on the USA men's vollyball team, was born and raised in Hawaii.

The bride says, "We fell in love with this venue from the moment we set eyes on it.  Our wedding consultant, Michelle, told us it was one of her favorite venues, so when we first saw pictures I could not agree more.  It was exactly the place I envisioned our Hawaiian wedding taking place.  When we finally got to fly to Hawaii and see it in person, we knew it was the perfect backdrop.   It is the most beautiful beachfront property surrounded by lush, tropical surroundings.  It is also so peaceful and has some of the most amazing sunsets.  Lanikuhonua was the most perfect wedding venue we could have dreamed of."
