Hannae and Ian are a gorgeous couple with a ton of personality! The VOWS Wedding & Event Planning team had the honor of orchestrating the fine details of their summertime Seattle, Washington wedding. The classic and ever-pinned color blush was the bride's hue of choice. A hint of mocha and black was thrown into the reception decor for a hint of sass  (see our napkins and bouquet handles). The bride also favored some serious sparkle which appeared in her gorgeous headpiece, jewelry and gold sequin linens on the head table.

The first impression of the auspicious occasion was the couple's statement acrylic invitations adorned in blush floral and geometric patterns which arrived in a sleek black box. The motif was found on the wedding programs, table numbers and escort cards.

The stunning bride wore not one, but two Vera Wang gowns! The first was a soft blush gown with tulle and sequins. The second dress--a surprise reveal for the first dance-- was a truly sophisticated sheath.

The afternoon ceremony held along the shore of Lake Washington in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle was a mix of glam and nature. Manzanita trees adroned in orchids marked the wedding aisle. We used black vessels for a sophisticated look.

The floral designs were an amazing display of Phalaenopsis orchids, peonies, garden roses and hydrangea.  Traditional candelabras were dripping in crystals as the centerpiece.

The reception lighting played a huge part in decorating the traditional ballroom. Amber up-lighting transitioned to pinks and greens for a festive dance party. The projected monogram on the wall was a special touch and matched their wedding stationery motif.

The dessert spread didn't disappoint with a delicious wedding cake and Seattle's favorite Trophy Cupcakes as a favor for each guest.  The newlyweds departed in a vintage Rolls Royce en route to their honeymoon suite in the heart of downtown Seattle.
