Erica walked down a natural aisle of flower petals to meet her groom, standing in front of leis strewn from the trees.  The father-of-the-bride passed his daughter’s hand to Derek, an emotional highlight symbolic of their families’ union. Derek Wong says, “As far as style and aesthetic, I think it’s really important that wedding images be romantic and elegant as well as modern yet timeless.  You want to be able to look back at these images in 20 or 30 years and remember the moments captured in an honest and sincere perspective.”

For the reception, the party moved indoors, enjoying dinner to the music of the Greenstone Project band. “We wanted an elegant, romantic setting with dancing candle light on elegant white linens and white flower arrangements. The goal was to take the best of both classic and modern touches.” After dinner, the couple opened the party with a fun cha-cha dance “with all of them dramatic spins and dips,” says the bride. For Erica and Derek, the greatest gift was seeing their family and friends gathered to celebrate their love.
