The design direction for Heather and Peter’s colorful destination wedding at the Four Seasons Manele Bay in Lanai, Hawaii was "Hawaiian elegance." The bride says, "We wanted to get married in Lana'i because of the beauty and tranquility of this rarely-visited island in Hawaii. Memories of swimming with dolphins in Hulopo'e Bay next to the ceremony site was another reason we choose this magical location.

The bride says, "My Amsale dress looked like it had big gardenias made from whipped cream cascading down the bottom."

Heather wore gold shimmery Jimmy Choo heels.

In an elegant and fun splash of color, the bride wore peridot gemstones, chocolate diamonds and gold jewelry.

The groom was dapper in a J.Crew Ludlow suit alonside his groomsment in the same style. Heather says, "It was a very Polo Ralph Lauren look for the men with pink ties and kukui nut leis."

The bride carried a vibrant cascading bouquet of tropical flowers alongside two darling flower girls.

"We were married inside of a huge heart on the beach made from lava rocks and flowers. The waves from the ocean crashed onto the beach during the ceremony and created a dramatic backdrop as we said our vows. The biggest waves crashed down onto the beach while we were exchanging vows, so it felt like the whole marriage was being blessed by Nature. The dolphins made an appearance outside of my hotel room the morning of our wedding too, jumping into the air in what felt like joy and celebration," Heather says.

"All of this felt like good luck to us! We felt blessed and continue to feel that way as we couldn't be happier together. Planning a trip back to celebrate one year of happy marriage!"

The color story for the day was vivid pinks, corals, leaf green and creamy white with a hint of merigold. The outdoor private island setting was adorned in tropical flowers: gardenias, orchids, hibiscus, plumerias and roses, for a touch of tradition. Heather was stunning in a floral crown and pikake lei.
