Dusty greens, muted pinks, and and delicate creams were mixed with watercolor ombres to create the perfect vineyard wedding for Mary and Chris. The couple decided they wanted to be wed amidst the most stunning natural backdrop of rolling hills and open skies. So they headed off to Northern California to escape into such natural beauty. The bride Mary shared their story with us: "Chris and I were wine tasting in Napa, California the day Chris proposed.  We were having a romantic picnic over looking the valley at Rutherford Hill Winery when he got down on one knee to ask me to marry him. It was a picture perfect moment.

Since both of our families are located on the East Coast we decided to make it a 'destination' wedding for all of them.  We love wine country so much and knew we wanted to have our big day there the moment we got engaged.  We understood that meant that not everyone would be able to make it, but we knew they were with us in spirit."

"My dress was designed by Marisa.  The bridesmaids dresses were from J Crew. They were able to pick out any style they liked but it had to be long and in dusty shale. The groomsmen wore grey suits."

The floral bouquets were absolutely gorgeous combinations of bold textures and soft colors.

"We had a water color theme for the escort cards, table numbers,  and table runners.I envisioned a soft muted color palette for the decor and flowers."

"My father married us in the Ruins of Kunde.  It was so special to have him officiate the ceremony in front of all our very close friends and family."

"We had 3 smaller cakes from Susie Cakes and a s'mores bar."

"We had searched high and low for a winery with views and Kunde delivered! It has a 360 view of their beautiful estate at the boot hill area. We also love how you feel like you are right in the middle of the vineyard."

The stunning views and intricate details of the entire day were photographed by Edyta Szyszlo Photograhy.

"Our band, Pop Fiction, was fantastic! We danced the night away."

"There were so many magical moments it's hard to pick just one. The weather was perfect, the food was amazing, all of our vendors were top notch, but my favorite was watching the sunset with my brand new husband."
