Earlier this month we celebrated the launch of the Summer/Fall 2010 issue with a party at Maui’s chic new night club, Timba. The ocean views are to-die-for and, as one of the few spots where you can dance late into the night, Timba is becoming one of the island’s most popular wedding reception spots. Chef Lee McBride of Aloha Events Catering prepared a fabulous menu for our gathering, and her partner, Michelle Martinez, was on hand to make sure everything was perfect. (I’m still dreaming about the crème brulée!)

Fong Tagawa of Floral Inspirations flew in from Honolulu to create our calla lily arrangements (she knows callas are my favorite:). We had so much fun with DJ Ron spinning his killer play list and a special birthday tribute to PW account exec, Barbara Lewis. Thanks to Pamela at Banyan Tree Bakery, who delivered her scrumptious red velvet cupcakes. And special thanks to Maui photographer, Tad Craig, who captured these candid moments for us.
