When luxury fashion house Matthew Williamson announced he was designing his first bridal collection, we knew to expect greatness. It is at once unconventional and chic, modern and ethereal. “I wanted to create a bridal collection that is both a natural extension of the mainline eveningwear, but at the same time reflects the opulence of such an important celebratory event,” says Williamson.

“The pieces are all characterised by feminine, diaphanous silhouettes, great attention to detail through the use of delicate pattern, hand beading and embroidery. Each gown is designed and produced with the highest craftsmanship and materials, with the white gown produced with buttermilk silk satin and hand embroided with floral print as the highlight of the collection.”

The collection includes 11 dresses, both cocktail-length and full-length formal, with a fur bolero adding a dash of elegance. While this collection is strictly limited to a handful of shops around the world, special orders are available upon customer requests. Selected styles are now available at Harvey Nichols.
