Red Butterfly Wedding

Ever since I first saw the breathtaking cascade of butterflies at Neiman Marcus, I have been fascinated with the idea of a butterfly wedding. I still find myself mesmerized each time I take the escalators surrounded by the sight of hundreds of glittering wings! A few years ago, I stumbled upon ruby red butterfly garlands on a site called World Buyers, and we created a fantastic scene of butterflies from the table setting to the desserts. Honolulu florist, Fong Tagawa of Floral Inspirations, selected Bacara and Black Magic roses to create a floral runner for the table and added gloriosa lilies, roses and crystals in a canopy of red and white to mix with the butterflies. I thought I would share it today, as it is still one of my favorite wedding themes.
