Mercury Glass Wedding: Part II
Filed Under
cakes & confections, favors & details, flowers + bouquets, the magazine, themes & color palettes, wedding stationery

I am happy to post part two of The Looking Glass feature story from the new issue. The French farmhouse details of this photo shoot are simply sublime with delicate candies, pink macaroons and a pretty dahlia wedding cake designed by my adorable friend, Katrina Nazareth of The Cake Gallery in Honolulu. Kat used edible icing sheets from Ticings that were custom designed to incorporate the dahlias from Yvonne Chapman’s table setting. I like the dainty fondant “buttons” Kat created to blend the vintage and modern aesthetics of the cake. Yes, she’s brilliantly talented and equally sweet! And Stacey Nomura of Lily & Bradley is another amazing mind—she conceived of the vintage eye chart motif for the stationery. (We love Stacey:) You can get all the details in the new issue. I have to say that my favorite thing from this concept are the invitations. Creatively designed!
