While researching various binding techniques, I stumbled upon Karleigh Heywood’s Etsy Shop and fell in love with her beautiful handmade leather books. I’ve been searching for wedding guestbooks with a “non-commercial” look, and here they are! The album pictured is cordbound, a binding style that dates back to the 5th century A.D. according to Karleigh. She notes that the interior is created of archival paper tea-stained by hand or can be produced with handmade papers from India embedded with flower petals and botanicals.
