One of our art director’s pet peeves is a wedding dress photo captured in stunning light—on a plastic hanger. There are some fun alternatives for wedding dress hangers as mentioned on the Maui Wedding Photography site. And today I came across an even better idea at Restoration Hardware, this lovely antique dressmaker’s form. I’ll admit this is a pricey alternative, but I found several listings on ebay, or you may be able to borrow one for the wedding day (who can resist a bride?). Your local garage sale or a flea market may be the best resource if you decide to keep it. Who knows—having it around just may bring out your inner Vera Wang! xo ~robyn
