We often look to the fashion runways for wedding inspiration, whether it is a bouquet arranged to mimic one of Lanvin’s dramatic gowns or a black and white cake adorned in Coco Chanel pearls. We could dream up many wonderful creations inspired by the Valentino Resort 2013 collection, full of tulle gowns with nipped waists, embroidered, princess silhouettes and floral prints in punchy pastel hues. Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli looked to Andy Warhol’s iconic portrait series and the swinging silhouettes of the ’60s for their latest collection.
